VFR800 Pearl Red Fairing
Hi there,
I had a small frontal accident with my Honda VFR last week, and so I am looking for a new set of fairings to replace the damaged ones.
I’ve attached a picture of the color I want, so I would like to ask you if you can make this.
I want a deep Bordeaux Red fairing with a slight sparkle flake in it. not too much.
If it is possible I would like the fairings to be completely sticker free, so no indication of VFR, or anything else. Just the bright color.
I would need all fairing parts + tank cover.
Can you make me a total price of this item and an estimate on shipping costs to Belgium / Europe?
I’ve asked another injection molded fairing company to give me a price as well, so I would go for the one that gives me the most confidence.

Bart: – I would like to be sure of the quality, are they injection molded, with reinforcements at the screw holes?
GoMotoTrip: yes, all pieces come out from our ABS injection mold which exactly what we showed in our website; every piece pre-drilled, bolt on, the same fitment as OEM.
Bart: – Can they be shipped in an unmarked box with an invoice marked as the gift? or lower invoice of $50 or something like that?
GoMotoTrip: rest assure, our box is unmarked; I think declared as $50-$100 will be better, as you know the package size will be around 90X60X55cm. Such big carton won’t be easy as a gift :)
Bart: – we ship our products all over the world, so I have seen what happens to our boxes when they go overseas, can you wrap them in some extra bubble foil just to be sure?

COLOR:
Bart: Attached you can now find the color, its a deep, kinda dark RED flacked almost burgundy.
GoMotoTrip: we can make this dark red color; to ensure that we can paint a small sample piece and send the picture for your confirmation. then finish all the kit after you said OK!
Fitment:
Bart: Whats the fitment like? close to original, very close to original? 100% sure easy fit as original??
GoMotoTrip:Â 100% the same as original factory. however except for the tank cover, as we indicated it’s made by compression mold; just around 85% good fitment as OEM.
Injection mold fairing:
Bart: I’ve heard this is the best way to make these fairings, quality close to original? better? worse?
GoMotoTrip:Â fairings are 3mm thickness; we can not say our fairings are better than OEM’s, but we can say we are making the best AFTERMARKET fairing kit!
Price:
Bart: I’ll be honest, I’ve checked around and had some other pricing done for me, most of them are about $200 more expensive than your $355 for the complete fairing, whats the catch? ?
GoMotoTrip: our group won’t take too much from our innocent client, as long as we could finish the best fairing work in a reasonable price; then it is good business between you and us. just being true during the international business, that’s our goal :)

As you may know, the paint will be aged due to the deterioration over time. Please provide your current bike photos so we can follow its colors as closely as possible. If you’re okay with the potential risk of color non-matching, the part offer could be provided upon your reply/confirmation. Overall, we recommend a complete fairing kit to guarantee uniform paint colors and design.

Yes. As soon as the fairing parcel arrives in the destination country, you’ll be contacted by local customs or courier if you need to pay any import tax fee.
This depends on the rules of your country. Normally the USA is non-tax needed. Most of the country is setting the charge-tax-line on how much value your package is. In our experience, we only declare USD$100 on your fairing package, somehow it could help you to reduce duty cost. For the exact tax rate, please check with your local customs.
If your order is held at customs, please cooperate with them to do the clearance. We can provide the invoice if needed.
You can return a kit if it doesn’t meet your expectations. No restocking fee but you need to return it at your cost. If there are issues like paint or fitment problems, contact us for a replacement.

It’s rare, but if a part arrives damaged, we’ll replace it at no extra charge. Report the issue within 48 hours, ensuring the part remains unused, unmounted, and in its original packaging. Please provide photos to expedite the replacement process.
In GoMotoTrip, any fairing marked as injection molded does have the OEM fitment.
- It means that they have the same accurate holes, tabs, etc for you to install our fairing on your sportbike.
- The way you took off the original fairing is the way to put GoMotoTrip’s fairing back.
INJECTED MOLDED FAIRING
The injection mold goes like this:
- The injection mold is when heated (melted) plastic is injected or poured into a cool mold, it’s then left to set and cool and provides a more accurate fitment.
- With the same injection mold production method as the OEM, thus you won’t have any fitment problems.

Only for some vintage sportbikes, GoMotoTrip has no injection mold but just compression molding for them, as it plays a good role in creating old model fairing.
The compression mold goes like this:
- Compression mold is when a BIG plastic is forced to conform to the shape of a heated mold.
- All the bolt-on fix-tab spots are manually placed by the experienced motorcycle fairing master.
- Thus you need to have the modification and adjust the position before you put the bolt on, like drilling and cutting when necessary.
